I attended your church palm Sunday with my sister this spring. You prayed for my rapid heart beat and fast heart rate. God brought it back to a normal resting beat of 72 beats per minute average. Praise God. It has also been a journey of trusting God and restoring my relationship with Him and allowing His perfect love to cast out fear.
We have an older daughter, Sarah, that is in college in Florida, and because money is very tight at our house right now, we were finding it hard to pay the needed money for the six month internship at IHOP starting in July 2011. Unlike all colleges the Internship required most of their money up-front for the room, board, and tuition.
My In-Laws were visiting us from out of town and were complaining about how "old" they felt. One had encountered a terrible back injury 4 weeks back and still felt a lot of pain, especially in the mornings. The other had gotten a piece of debris in his eye and had experienced a great deal of pain and discomfort as it wasn't seeming to get any better. He had even been put on antibiotics for it.
We had been seeking the Lord over the past year or so in regards to our finances and job. Even though we were associate pastors at a wonderful church in Asheville, NC and were seeing God move for 6 years, we just could never break through in the area of finances.
Thank you for praying for my Aunt Lillian. Not only has the cancer not spread, but the tumor has shrunk. I am very thankful for this as my mother is a year and a half removed from losing my father and my aunt's daughter was expecting her first child. God bless....Hollis
Yesterday while visiting with Ella, a representative of the hospital came in to bless the Miller's and their new baby. She began to share with us that she was a German holocaust survivor from the tribe of Benjamin and a descendant of Paul and that she had received Yeshua as the Messiah, her Savior. She said the doctors at Emory call her a walking miracle because at night when she takes off her glasses she goes completely blind.
Robin sent a prayer request to the prayer chain for her son Thomas who called and asked for prayer. He is now one of 12 guys (out of 49) and 3 (out of 22 who went together) left in the Air Force Special Forces training. He passed out after P.T. and was unconscious for over 5 minutes. He woke up in an ambulance in the hospital was diagnosed with a mild heat stroke.
May 25, 1998 Alanna's heart stopped beating while she was still in the womb. She was 5 weeks premature, but doctors delivered her by emergency c-section and brought her back to life. Doctors said that if she survived she would be mentally handicapped, but 10 days later she was released from the hospital.
She had Cerebral Palsy and could not use her legs, but on March 31, 1998 she began to crawl. After surgeries and casts she learned to walk. She was teased and bullied because she was different. On February 18, 2011 she received prayer at a church service and was completely healed.
Two summers ago: My10-year-old nephew, Micah, lost most of his hearing. Micah began wearing hearing aids and the school purchased a system for his teacher to wear to help him better hear class discussions.
At the refugee outreach, we had the young girls do prophetic drawings to themselves. Some of the leaders did drawings also.
A couple of the girls gave prophetic words to the leaders based on the drawings the leaders had done. They were right on and awesome. These girls were about 6 to 11 years old
Thank you everyone for your prayers for baby Elijah!! God has worked in his little life and now Elijah is off IV feeding and feeding from a bottle. I think all the tubes are gone, and his organs are fully developed. I think they are just waiting for his suck and gag reflexes to improve before sending him home. They do not know how much brain damage there is from the lack of oxygen he received in Utero. As Elijah grows up that will become more apparent. But with your continued prayers for this child, perhaps God will see fit to compensate for the lack of oxygen and give this little boy a complete and healthy brain!
On the mission trip to The Bridge we went to the church that they are connected to. I started to get a random pain in my ring finger as soon as I got there. When it came time to give words of knowledge, the pain went away. I felt like God was saying someone had a ring on their finger, but it got too painful to wear, so he/she took it off. A girl said the word was for her. Her mom was in an abusive relationship and was doing drugs, so she couldn't be with her mom or her siblings. She showed me the ring that her mom had given her that she had taken off because it had been hurting her finger. She was in tears now and we prayed God would look out for her family.
Last night a little boy had malaria, key word had. Church today flew by in a mere 6 hrs. Bunch of peeps got healed, destinies released, etc. Having fun in Cameroon.
Dear Bethel Atlanta, I've owned a small business in Grant Park, for nearly 3 years now. The past years have been very hard on us, as everyone else. Revenue was especially low from October to January 2010 and I started considering closing the business that was so dear to my heart. Dec and Jan we couldn't pay our rent, which is extremely low compared to most establishments.
About 18 months ago I had cancer surgery and as a result, couldn't move my right arm over my head without pain. Actually, I had gotten used to it. Well, this morning during worship I looked and noticed that I had my right arm raised all the way up over my head! I didn't even realize it at first!!! No one prayed for me... I wasn't praying about it... I had just accepted that my arm was just going to be that way - I mean I'm alive, so what's the big deal about my arm not moving all the way? But who told me that? It sure wasn't God! He wants me healed - every part of me!!! What an
amazing God!!! He's sooooo good!
Later in the evening we ran into an elderly woman who had recently been victim to several heart attacks over a 2 day period. She had pain throughout her body and several other emotional issues as well. As we prayed for her, God touched her and the pain totally left her body! It was an exciting evening! Yea God!
Last weekend my girlfriend and I witnessed a man get hit by a car while crossing the street in front of us. We quickly parked the car and ran across the street to help and pray. When we arrived the man wasn't breathing, moving or otherwise. An ambulance happened to be
nearby and an EMS worker was quickly to him. As we began to pray for the man, he began to breathe and then began to move around and make noise!
Early this morning our 5 year old grandson, Shane, in CA was rushed to the emergency room with severe pain. They suspected he needed an appendectomy and he was taken in an ambulance to Stanford to see a pediatric surgeon. During the day at the hospital he was moaning in his sleep and screamed when his belly was touched. Many prayed and by this afternoon his white blood count had returned to normal, pain had subsided and they sent him home with no surgery. Thank you God!
Marnus and Lisa have been praying for children for 3 years, perusing healing as well as being open to adoption. This Thanksgiving they were thrilled to find out that Lisa is pregnant!
During a time of prophetic ministry Dave had a word that there was someone in the group who couldn't sleep through the night. A girl who had suffered with insomnia for years was prayed for and after that time began sleeping through the night.
I visited your church last year when we were new to Georgia and looking for a church. We were VERY familiar with Bethel Redding, so we had to check you out! There was a Word of Knowledge spoken out about someone's heartbeat is irregular and the doctor's don't know why.
John tells us of a boy named Jacob who fell down an elevator shaft and technically died, not breathing for 15-20 minutes. After praying life over him during that time, Jacob began breathing again, but was in a coma. Prayer continued and after a few days Jacob opened his eyes and the day after that was able to move his arms, legs & fingers. Jacob is recovering!
We have an awesome praise regarding Jeremy C.'s father. He had been battling cancer and was not getting any hope from the doctors and the last report was that the cancer cells had all died! He is basking in his healing! Thank you Jesus!
How blind is being blind? Total blackness, or not having the ability to discern between different objects, or colors? If you can not rely on what vision you have.....you are blind. Melissa's last exam was 18 months ago. At this visit she was no longer correctable for any type of eye wear.
Had two issues of blood this year - bleeding completely stopped and I am healed!! Praise God and thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!
Nancy's Dad, Harvey 80 years old - Inguinal hernia surgery this morning. It went very well and Dad is home now. He and Mom are thanking God and thanking you all for your prayers. Dad is declaring the Wonderful Works of the Lord.
Prayed for Nancy and John's brother-in-law Earl for blod clots awhile back. Even though some of the blood clots had gone through his heart and into his lungs, he is still here and doing well!!! Praise God and thank you!!!!
